A fresh start for our area

by Wimbledon Town & Dundonald Lib Dems on 2 April, 2018

More and more local people are backing the Lib Dems to ensure a fresh start for our area.

The local Lib Dem team has launched six key pledges if voters back them at May’s local elections.

These are: (1) fighting to save Wimbledon Police Station; (2) investing in our health and care services; (3) investing in education; (4) making local stations “step free“; (5) more affordable homes; and (6) keeping streets clean through better contract management, flexibility on wheelie bins, and action on flytipping.”

The Lib Dems have a strong record of supporting residents in the area, and are in pole position to beat the Conservatives here at the upcoming local elections on 3 May.

In a joint statement on being nominated as candidates, Anthony, Simon and John said:

“As a team we’ve shown we can work hard and bring a professional approach to dealing with local issues. Elect three Lib Dems on 3rd May and we’ll be a local team you can trust to get things done.

“We will fight for a fresh start for our area – we believe politics can be done in a more professional, collaborative and positive way.
