Merton’s Planning Committee will be making a decision on the Planning Application about the Rainbow Estate near Raynes Park Station on September 17th 2015 at 1915hrs. The report to the councillors on the Planning Application Committee is recommending “granting permission”.

Local LibDems have campaigned for several years that this application will cause significant traffic congestion near the access to Raynes Park Station. We are yet to be assured that the (re)new application addresses any of these concerns and will lead to genuine improvements for the local community.

These are our views on the initial planning application from 2012, which we think are still relevant now.
